For the second consecutive year, Peru was part of the World Specialty Coffee Conference and Exhibition (SCAJ 2022), which took place from October 12 to 14. It is the most important specialty coffee promotion event in Japan and throughout Asia.

The Ambassador of Peru in Japan, Roberto Seminario, was present at the opening ceremony of the fair, which brings together the main producing countries, as well as importing companies, roasters and specialized suppliers in the coffee sector.

Thanks to the efforts made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on this occasion nine different varieties of specialty coffees from Amazonas, Cajamarca, Cusco, Pasco and Puno were promoted and offered for tasting.
